Day 1: Casablanca to Marrakech:
Depending on your arrival from Malaysia to Morocco, we will pick you up from Casablanca airport and explore Hassan II Mosque. This is the only mosque in Morocco where non-Muslims can visit it. Then, we will drive to the imperial city of Marrakech, where you will spend the night Riad.
Day 2: Marrakech City Tour
A guided tour in Marrakech will start after breakfast. Therefore, your local guide will take you to important attractions in Marrakech, such as the Kotobia mosque and Jamaa El Fna square. You will also visit Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs and Madrasa Ben Youssef. Then, you enjoy your free time in the square. Overnight is in the same Riad.
Day 3: From Marrakech to Boumaln Dades via Atlas Mountains
Today, we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Dades Valley. On the way, you explore an argan oil cooperative and the highest point of the Atlas mountain range at 2260 meters. Afterwards, we will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. It is a UNESCO and Berber fortification built by the Glaoui family. Many movies were filmed in this Kasbah like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
We will then drive to Ouarzazate to visit film studios. After that, we drive through the 1000 kasbahs to the Valley of the Roses. Later, we will stop at the monkey fingers and visit the Tisdrine curves. Finally, we will check into your Riad in Dades Valley.
Day 4: From Dades Valley to Merzouga via Dades Gorges
After breakfast, we will drive to Tinghir City where the canyon of the Todgha Gorges is. After that, we will visit one of the ancient irrigation systems for watering the palm oases. Next, we will head to Erfoud known for its fossils and date fruits. We will then arrive in the Merzouga desert or Erg Chebbi. You will enjoy your on a camel ride to a desert camp. You will stop at the dunes on the way to watch the sunset. After dinner, camp staff will perform music around the fire, and you enjoy the starry sky.
Day 5: From Merzouga to Cadar Forest and Fes
From Merzouga, we will drive to Ziz Valley which is the source of date fruits. Then, we will cross the High Atlas mountains, passing by the Errachidia dam. We will also pass through Midelt which is the capital city of apples. After that, we will go to the Azrou cedar forest, where we will visit the monkeys. They are the few animals left in the Atlas Forest. Later, we will head to Ifrane, the cleanest city and the Switzerland city of Morocco. There, you will see the statue of the Atlas Lion, which a German prisoner sculpted in exchange for his freedom. Finally, we will arrive in the imperial city of Fes. Overnight is in Riad.
Day 6: Fes City Tour
After having breakfast, you start your Fes city tour with a local guide. You will explore the old Medina and important attractions. For example, you visit the Jewish quarter or El Mellah, El Karraouine University and leather tanneries. Also, you visit the Borj where you enjoy a panoramic view of the city. After you finish, you have free time and enjoy another night in the same Riad.
Day 7: From Fez to Rabat via Meknes
From Fes, we will drive to the imperial city of Meknes to visit some of its attractions. Then, you visit the Roman city, Volubilis. After that, we drive to the imperial city of Rabat
Day 8: From Rabat to Casablanca
In Rabat, you will visit the Hassan Tower mosque and Oudayas Kasbah. The kasbah is protected by UNESCO. Finally, we will transfer you to the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. Then, travelling from Malaysia to Morocco service ends here.
