4 Days Desert Tour From Casablanca

Day 01: Casablanca ~ Imperial cities ( Rabat ~ Meknes ~ Fes):

We meet you at your accommodation or airport, and we then start 4 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. Thus, we take you to see Hassan II Mosque. This Moroccan mosque is the largest mosque in Africa and the seventh largest in the world. It is also the second tallest minaret in the world at 210 meters. After we visit this mosque, we drive to the capital and administrative city, Rabat. Here, you visit the impressive Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Thereafter, we drive to the imperial city, Meknes. In the 17th century, Meknes was the capital city under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Its historical significance and huge walls will amaze you. From Meknes, we drive to the capital city of Fes. Fes is the oldest, scientific and cultural city in Morocco. You check into your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Day 02: Fes ~ Ifrane ~ Cedar Forest ~ Ziz Valley ~ Merzouga:

When you have breakfast, we leave Fes and head towards the Sahara Desert. On the way, we stop in Ifrane. It is a town often referred to as “Little Switzerland” due to its unique architecture and surroundings. Moreover, we drive Cedar Forest which is home to subspecies of barbarian macaques and macaca silvanos. We then travel through the Middle Atlas Mountain ranges. We stop in Midelt town for lunch. This is the capital city of apples in Morocco. From here, we head to Ziz Valley where date palm oases stretch as far as the eye can see. You enjoy a panoramic view of the valley and old kasbahs. Thereafter, we drive to Erfoud, the capital city of fossils and date fruit. Finally, we arrive at Merzouga desert. You go on a camel trip to the heart of the desert, where you admire the desert sunset. You also experience sandboarding and enjoy dinner and music around the fire. Overnight is in a desert camp.

Day 03: Merzouga Sahara ~ Todra Gorges ~ Dades Valley:

Today will be one of the best experiences on 4 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. Hence, you witness the beauty of the desert at sunrise. After that, you have breakfast and we drive through the palm trees of Tafilalte and you explore a traditional method of irrigation. Then, we stop in one of the Berber villages to discover Berber cloth cooperatives. After you have lunch in one of these villages, we drive to Tinghir where we visit Todra Gorges. It is towering cliffs and dramatic scenery that attracts climbers. When you enjoy the contrasts of the rugged landscape, we then drive to Dades Valley. Here, you visit rock formations and the curvy road of Tissdrine. Finally, we check into your accommodation and Spend the night in a cosy hotel/Riad in the valley.

Day 04: Dades Valley ~ Ouarzazate ~ Ait Ben Haddou ~ Tizi N Tichka ~ Marrakech

After you have breakfast, we drive to Rose Valley where you can visit one of the rose cooperatives. Each May, locals celebrate Rose Festival. Besides, we drive to Ouarzazate, a city known as the “Door of the Desert” and cinema city. Thus, you explore the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studio. Moreover, we Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. It is an ancient fortified village that has served as the backdrop for numerous films. It is also the largest Kasbah in Morocco that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. The lunch is in this kasbah. From here, we drive through the Tizi N Tichka Pass which offers panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. We stop for a coffee break and a panoramic view here. Finally, we arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation. We then end 4 days desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. As your journey comes to a close, you’ll have the evening to explore Djemaa el-Fnaa Square.
