5 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech ~ Telouen ~ Ait Ben Haddou ~ Ouarzazate

On this day, we will travel through the views of the High Atlas Mountains. Thus, we will stop in some unique places before we arrive in Ouarzazate. Firstly, we will stop at the oil Argan cooperative. There, you can discover how local women make products with Argan oil, such as for cosmetic purposes. Also, we stop at the Tizi-N-Ticka mountain pass to enjoy a panoramic view. Secondly, we will stop in Talouent Kasbah and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Both kasbahs were caravan routes where traders brought goods and slaves from Sub-Sahara. We then visit the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate. We finally spend this night in a Riad that overlooks the mountains.

Day 2: Ouarzazate ~ Skoura Village ~ Rose Valley ~ Dades Valley

This is the second of 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes. We will start this day by visiting Taouririt Kasbah. This Kasbah was built during the 19th century. This place has almost 300 rooms, and there are more than 20 roads inside the Kasbah. Skoura Village is our next destination to explore. This is a Berber village surrounded by groves and mountains. There is also another famous kasbah called Amridil Kasbah. It is one of the most impressive kasbahs in Morocco, and it was featured on the 50 dirham note. Secondly, we visit Rose Valley and Rose Cooperative to discover rose products. We hope your Morocco trip will coincide with the Rose Festival that is organized in May each year. After that, we lead you through the road of 1000 Kasbahs. You can see many kasbahs on the road. Finally, we arrive in Dades Valley and spend this night in Riad.

Day 3: Dades Valley ~ Todgha/ Todra Gorges ~ Merzouga

We will visit the Rock Formations and have enough time to explore Todra Gorges. From here, we keep driving along the palm groves and visit a traditional irrigation channel for watering these groves. Secondly, we stop in Erfoud city, the city of marbles and dates. We will end this day in Merzouga and have this night in Riad/Hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert Excursions

This day can be one of the best days in 5 days tour from Marrakech to Fes. You will experience a desert tour to visit nomads by 4×4 and enjoy a camel trip. Firstly, we drive to Sahrij Lake. It is also called Flamingo’s Lake. Furthermore, we will drive off-road to the black desert. There, you will discover challenging work where locals extract mines in pits that are more than 300m deep. Then, we will visit nomad families in hand-made tents and have lunch there. Finally, you begin your camel trekking trip to spend a night in the camp. You will enjoy the sunset and sandboarding. After dinner, you enjoy music around the fire.

Day 5: Merzoauga ~ Rissani ~ Ziz Valley ~ Ifrane ~ Fes

On this last day, you should not miss the sunrise view. Once you enjoy a shower and breakfast, we depart to Rissani. In this town, you will visit an old market, enjoy the smell of spices and explore traditional crafts. We will then drive to Ziz Valley for enjoyable panoramic views of palm oases and old mud houses. Secondly, we will drive along the Middle Atlas Mountains. In Middle Town, we will have lunch and then visit Cedar Forest. It is the largest forest in Morocco known as home to wild apes. After you enjoy these friendly apes, we will visit Ifrane. Unlike other cities, Ifrane is one of the most impressive towns in Morocco. It looks like one of the towns of Switzerland.
