Itinerary of 2 days from Marrakech to Zagora:
Day 1: Marrakech ~ Ait Ben Haddou ~ Zagora
2 days from Marrakech to Zagora will start from your accommodation or at Riad. Thus, we will drive along the High Atlas Mountain, crossing the Tizi n’ Tichka mountain pass. Firstly, you will visit the Argan oil cooperative to discover how locals deal with Argan oil to make products, such as cosmetics. Furthermore, there will be a stop at the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to walk up the Kasbah. Moreover, you will enjoy the landscapes of palm tree groves towards Agdez. Then, we will drive to Zagora to start your camel trekking trip to the camp. Finally, your camel guide will make a stop in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset and take wonderful pictures and head to the camp. After dinner, you will enjoy music drums around the fire and enjoy your night under the starry sky.
Day 2: Zagora ~ Ouarzazate ~ Marrakech
Today, you will wake up early for the magical sunrise. You will have breakfast and come back by camel. Then, we will drive along the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley oasis to discover Morocco’s largest river. Thereafter, we will drive to Ouarzazate. It is also the Hollywood of Africa where many movies are filmed, such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones and others. There will be a chance to visit its Atlas studios and then drive back to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains.
