3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour

Itinerary of 3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga:

Day 1: From Marrakech ~ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ~ Ouarzazate ~ Dades Valley

3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga will travel along the Atlas Mountains today. Therefore, we visit the Argan oil cooperative and cross the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass. Nature offers spectacular landscapes of Berber villages and panoramic views of the stretching mountains. Besides, we explore the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is also the largest Kasbah in Morocco that offers the best example of architectural mud buildings. Thereafter, Ouarzazate will be our next destination. It is the Hollywood of Africa and the capital cinema where many movies are filmed, such as Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. And then, we drive through the road of the Thousand Kasbahs to Rose Valley. Here, there will be free time to visit the valley and know more about rose products and then head to Dades Valley. Overnight in a local Riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley ~ Todra Gorges ~ Desert Camel Trekking

On the second day of 3 days, Marrakech to Merzouga sets off after your breakfast. Firstly, you will enjoy the landscapes of the mountains and the Rock Formation, known as the monkey fingers. Further, our tour will head to Todra Gorger. These Gorges are a series of canyons carved out by rushing rivers. It is also an ideal site for climbers with high rock walls. Day 3: From Merzouga ~ Rissani ~ Agdez ~ Ourzazate ~ Marrakech

With all excitement, you will climb the dunes early morning to watch the magical sunrise. After that, our trip will resume its way to Rissani. It is an old city known for an old and traditional souk. Locals still keep the past transportation means of mules and donkeys. Moreover, we will drive along a different way to Draa Valley.
